Pediatric hospitalist in Boston, master's in clinical informatics from Columbia. Head of product at River Records, now fractional at Tennr and Concordare Trials. I still see patients, which is most of why any of this works.
The part I'm best at is the tedious part: the clinical logic, the triage rules, the moment your product decides something for a patient and nobody has checked what happens if it's wrong.

Primary care pediatrician at the same hospital, MD-PhD from Baylor in the human microbiome. First author in Nature Medicine on how an infant's microbiome develops after birth, which was large-scale data science before the phrase caught on.
He's an Epic physician builder, so his opinions about the EHR come with build hours behind them. Data models, standards, and honest evaluation of AI output are his end of the work.
People notice that we're both pediatricians. It's a good school for this work: the patient usually isn't the one deciding, the family is part of the case, and you live with the consequences for a long time. Very little of what we do is about children specifically.
